RWB Registration is Open

Welcome back and welcome aboard.

Greetings, Barracuda Nation. It is time to register for this year’s summer season. Please read the following very closely and let us know if you have any questions.

First off, we are so excited to start this season. You may have seen that the pool is getting ready, and in just about two months, we will be there again. There is nothing better than summer swim.

(1) WINTER CLINIC

Reminder. We will not have the Winter Clinic on Sunday, April 6. The pool is hosting a meet. We will see our winter clinic swimmers on the 13th.

(2) OPEN HOUSE and SALE

Mark your calendars. On April 6, from 4-6pm we will host an open house at Tall Oaks community center. There, you can stop by to see familiar faces, get to know more about our program and ask questions to coaches and board members. Also, we will offer suit try-ons and will be selling RWB gear.

(3) REGISTRATION

This season our team, and every team in the league, is switching to SwimTopia for registration, volunteer coordination, meet set-up and communication. This email will be our last use of Team Unify.

To register, go to: https://rwb.swimtopia.com/

On the right side of the screen, there is a blue button: “REGISTER.” Enter your information, and you are all set.

On the site, we have included the practice schedule (same as last year’s) and the meet schedule. Our first practice is on Tuesday, May 27. We swim in the afternoons until school gets out in mid-June.

If your swimmer is new to the team and you are curious if they should be on the swim team, or on the developmental team (see Little Cudas below), please contact me or Cameron. We can find a time to meet with your swimmer to see where he/she would best fit.

(4) CALL FOR COACHES

We love the fact that every single coach on our staff was once or is now a Barracuda. Coach Cameron and I will be setting up interviews for those interested in coaching. If you are interested, please email me or Cameron (emails listed below), and we will let you know the next steps.

(5) LITTLE CUDAS

We offer a developmental program called the Little Cudas. This is for swimmers who cannot yet complete a full lap of the pool on their back and belly. For interested families, we will offer assessments during Memorial Day weekend (dates and times TBA). We will not open registration until Memorial Day. We will offer three different two-week sessions. Details are posted on the site.

Again, we cannot wait to get back in the pool with your wonderful young swimmers! There is nothing better than summer swim!
