Morning, Barracuda Nation. We just wanted to share a few things before we start practice in about 10 days. 

(1) SwimTopia. We will use Swimtopia for all communication from here on out. Make sure you have enrolled your swimmers. All teams in the League are moving over the SwimTopia this season. Our TeamUnify account will disappear. 

(2) Little Cudas. On Memorial Day weekend, we will offer three days of assessments for swimmers who are interested in our developmental program. We will be at Ridgewood Pool on Saturday (1-3pm), Sunday (3-5pm) and Monday (2-4pm). No appointment necessary. Come and learn about the program. 

(3) Winter Clinic. Our final winter clinic is Sunday, May 18. Thanks so much for the support and interest. This year's winter clinic was our largest yet. 

(4) Team Practices. We start our season on Tuesday, May 27. The practice schedule is the same as last year. 

13 and overs swim from 4:15-5:15 

8 and unders swim from 5:15-6 

9 and 10 swim from 6-7 

11 and 12 swim from 7-8 

(5) Pool Rules. For the first three weeks of the season, we swim in the evenings after school. The diving end, the shallow end and the baby pool will be open to the patrons, too. Let's continue our good relationship with the community by sharing the pool. Remember to return any chairs that you move. 

(6) Weather. We have had a stormy week. We hope to swim every practice, every day. I am sure we will have to cancel a few. Coach Cameron or I will post on the Swim Topia site as soon as we cancel. Please check the website before you leave to the pool. 

This is my 10th year serving this community as your head coach. It continues to be one of the great joys of my life. Our goal is to surround your children with loving, thoughtul, skilled coaches who can help your kids be better swimmers and better people. Let's carve out a little piece of nice-ness for each other this summer in a world that desperately needs it.
