Team-  Good afternoon and happy last day of school!  It's officially summer!

I am reaching out to inform you of a new parking policy the HOA has instituted for our team for morning practices beginning Monday, June 16th.  This new parking policy applies to EVERY morning practice time.  If you have swimmers who drive themselves to practice please make sure they are aware of this policy change too.

Per our summer 2025 contract the the HOA (LRPRA):

• "Parking for all team members and parents/guardians of team members will be permitted along Oakwood Drive ONLY.  No parking or waiting in the association lot."
• "There will be ten (10) parking spots designated (by cones and signs) as ten (10) minute drop off spots to be used by swimmers/parents/guardians and/or campers (LRPRA summer camp) weekday mornings during swim team season."
• If you are pulling up to the walkway up to the pool to drop off your swimmers "you MUST pull as far to the right as you safely can and form a single line so that cars can continue to pass on your left.  Swimmers should exit on the right side of the vehicle." (This is not the time or place to be organizing bags, applying sunscreen, etc.  If you need to do that please pull into a drop off spot or park on Oakwood.)
• "Three (3) spaces will be designated for swim team coaches."  This applies to our head coaching staff.  All other coaches must also park on Oakwood Drive.

I recognize this is a huge change from how we have operated in the past and may present some logistical challenges.  I thank you in advance for your patience and ask everyone to be extra diligent when it comes to the safety of our swimmers, especially when walking along/crossing Oakwood Dr.  And please be sure to drive safely and slowly and follow all directional signs when driving on Oakwood and through the LRPRA parking lot for drop off (and please remind your teen drivers of this too!).  Let's all work together to keep our swimmers' safe around the road and parking lot!
